Title:
Lady who relapsed on cocaine gets healed, rededicates her life to Jesus, and finds a place to stay

“My friend Ralph and I went to a park in North Portland during an outreach. We ended up talking with a woman who shared that she had been clean from cocaine for twelve years and had recently relapsed. As we talked, the woman told us she had grown up in church and knew God at one point, but knew she needed Him in her life again. So we prayed for her, and God powerfully touched her. I had noticed earlier she walked with a limp, so we prayed for healing. The Holy Spirit gave me a word of knowledge that she also had pain in her neck. She said it was true, and that she had had scoliosis since birth. As we prayed, all the pain left her body and she cried! We then led her through forgiving all the people in her life that hurt her. She said the pain from these relationships was why she relapsed into cocaine. Right there, she forgave them and rededicated her life to Jesus! Her sister was also with her, and seeing what was happening, offered to have her stay at her house. She didn’t feel worthy of staying with her sister and said she was planning to stay at the bus stop that night, but we encouraged her there was no shame and that she should stay with her sister. She agreed and so was able to get off the streets! Jesus is pursuing His lost sons and daughters!”

Man healed of hearing problem

“Three of us women went to Esther Short Park in Vancouver, Washington where we approached a group of men who were sitting down. We asked if anyone needed healing in their bodies and one of the men told us he had a problem hearing out of one of his ears. We prayed twice for him and his hearing improved! While we were praying for him another man walked up to the group. As we talked to him, we received several Words of Knowledge about his life and he shared that last week another lady had prayed with him and he had given his life to Jesus. Now there we were in his life to water that seed! We ended up praying with him as he forgave people that had hurt him. He cried as he felt the love of Jesus touch his heart.”

“Some of us were in Portland and began a conversation with a woman. When we saw her she was hunched over. She told us she had been in pain from an injury since high school and had lived with this level 10 out of 10 pain consistently since. We asked if we could pray for her and she said, ‘Of course,’ expressing that she knew and loves Jesus. We prayed several times with her as the pain went down from a level 10 to a level 7. We then began to prophesy over her and encourage her as she began to sob, her tears falling to the ground. She was encountering the pure love of Jesus Christ. We realized a line of people across the street were watching all that was happening. We felt led to share the Gospel with a group of them and I felt I had a word of knowledge that one of them had shoulder pain. When I asked, they said that they didn’t, but one man mentioned he had back pain occasionally. I was able to pray for him and share my testimony, telling him about the reality of Jesus. He said he believed there was a God, but wasn't associated with any religion. I shared how Jesus had healed my back and that He could heal him as well. At that moment, he was skeptical and wasn’t open to believing God could do that. As we turned to walk away, the same woman from earlier with the spine injury since high school came toward us from across the street yelling, ‘It’s all gone! I’ve been looking for you guys. Jesus healed me!’ She said that after we walked away all the pain had left her body, and now there she stood shouting with excitement for all to hear that Jesus had healed her! She became a living testimony to everyone there of Jesus’ great love and power toward us.”

Women Weeps From the Love of God and Gives Her Life to Jesus

“A group of us went to the Vancouver Mall and as we passed by an older lady we told her Jesus loved her. We stopped to talk to her and as I looked in her eyes I could see she’d been through so much hurt and pain. I said to her, “It’s been hard for you, huh? Not COVID, but your life?” She opened up to us right there and told us yes, she had been through a lot of hard things. The Holy Spirit spoke to me in that moment and told me to give her a hug, so I did. As I hugged her I told her, “I love you like a son loves his mother. As a father loves his son, so God loves you. And as a bridegroom loves his bride, so the Heavenly Father loves you.” She told us that her husband had been an alcoholic and abusive toward her for many years. She wept in my arms for almost ten minutes as I hugged her and released the love of God over her. I could feel the Holy Spirit tangibly touching her! We then shared the Gospel with her and invited her to give her life to Jesus. She said she was a big sinner and didn’t know if God could forgive her. We told her no sin is too big for God, so right there she surrendered her life to Jesus!”

Title: Holy
Spirit Drawing a Young Man to the Father

“As we entered the Vancouver Mall, I felt the Holy Spirit highlight a young man also entering the mall. We approached him and asked if he had any pain in his body or if there was anything we could pray for in general. He said he was doing pretty good and that lately his emotional state had been improving. I asked him if he had ever heard God speak to him or felt God’s presence. He said no so I asked if I could pray for him. As we prayed, the Holy Spirit showed me he had problems with his parents and so I prayed for his family. He looked at me strangely, wondering how I knew that. Then he told us he had problems with his mom and they were constantly fighting. I asked him what he felt when we prayed and he said he felt a burning in his core. I knew in that moment that God was drawing him. So I shared my testimony and the Gospel with him. He said he wasn’t very religious, so I asked him if he considered his relationship with his girlfriend to be religious. He said no and I told him Jesus is not a religion. He is a real person that desires a relationship with you. After explaining the Gospel more, I encouraged him to start reading the Bible more and prayed for him one more time. He said he had never heard or felt anything like what we shared with him today. He was so thankful that we stopped to talk to him and said he wanted to think about it more before he made a commitment to Jesus. So we exchanged phone numbers and gave him a book of the Bible to start reading.”

Man Healed and Surprised at the Goodness of God

“We were in downtown Vancouver, WA near Esther Short Park handing out socks to the homeless. A man was highlighted to us who was standing on the sidewalk leaning up against a building. As we approached him, I saw the Holy Spirit highlight that he had a problem with his right knee. After we introduced ourselves and found out his name was Jeoff, my friend Josh asked if he had any pain in his body. Jeoff said no, that he was doing pretty good. I then asked him if he had any problems in his right knee and he looked at me surprised and said, “Actually I do. That’s crazy, how did you know that?” So I told him that we hear God’s voice and that God wants to heal him. He explained that his knee had pins and needles in it from a surgery, would fall out of joint, and was overall weak. So we laid hands and prayed for him and immediately he could feel a change. Holy Spirit also showed me while we were praying that the pain went from his knee to his hip and he had problems with his whole leg. He said it was true and as we prayed he felt strength come into his knee, something moving around, and all the grinding left. He was shocked! We began to share the Gospel with him and he said he recently started thinking more about Jesus and wanted to believe, but it was hard because when he would try to get clean off of drugs he would just end up going back to them again. I asked if we could just pray for him again and as we did he could feel the tangible peace of the Holy Spirit and felt a burning in his chest. The Holy Spirit also showed me he had a broken relationship with his mom and he said he used to be best friends with his mom, but something happened and they didn’t really talk anymore. So I told him that Jesus was knocking on the door of his heart and explained what it meant to be born again. He said that he had never experienced anything like what he experienced when we prayed and told him about Jesus. He said that it was crazy how we knew those things about him. I asked if he wanted to completely surrender his life to Jesus and he said he wasn't quite ready, but he would definitely be thinking about it. He genuinely thanked us and I gave him my phone number if he ever wanted to reach out. He walked away encouraged and loved!”

Two Young Men Give Their Lives to Jesus at the Mall

“I went to the Vancouver Mall to share Jesus with people and ended up seeing two young men in the mall leaning up against the handrail just hanging out. So I approached them and shared the Gospel by telling them that Jesus was knocking on the door of their heart, that he could take the weight of their sin off their shoulders, and that they could start a relationship with Him today. As I shared I could see in their faces that they were both very stirred and hungry for what I was sharing. They said they needed what I was talking about. I invited them to pray to receive Jesus and one of the young men said he wanted to, but was in a hurry and about to leave. I told him that he could give his life to Jesus anytime and even on his own, but that you don’t know if you’ll have this chance again. Any moment could be our last and we don’t know how long we’ll be on this earth. I told them, ‘There’s no formula, but today is the day of salvation.’ Now is the best time! They agreed and so right there we prayed together and both of them gave their lives to Jesus!”

Man Healed at the Bus Stop

“The first man we approached today was waiting to board his bus at the bus stop. We asked if he had any pain in his body and he said he had pain in his wrist and neck from a car accident. We explained that Jesus wanted to heal him and asked if we could pray. It turns out he believed in Jesus and he shared with us how he had been homeless for two months and from that experience had a passion to help the homeless. He was eager and thankful for us to pray for him. The first time we prayed for his wrist the pain actually got worse. He looked at me surprised and I told him it was a demon and that we were going to pray again. After we prayed the second time the peace of God dropped on him and he felt something go into his wrist. When he tested it out he could move it around with no pain! He looked at us stunned and asked, “Who are you guys?” I simply said, “That’s Jesus! We love Jesus.” We then prayed for his neck and all the pain left, the cracking reduced, and range of motion was restored. As we were praying, the Holy Spirit showed me that he went through a divorce and that he was having a hard time with his ex-wife and his daughter. When I asked him this he said it was all true and we were able to speak truth into the situation about how the Father wanted to bring peace and restoration into the relationships. He was so encouraged and thanked us for the work we were doing. He had to catch his bus so we said goodbye knowing that he encountered Jesus afresh that day.”

Holy Spirit Shows Up in Portland’s ChinaTown

“We decided to go to ChinaTown in Portland to share the Gospel and we came to this street with a large crowd of people. We found out the crowd was there because there was a kitchen feeding the homeless on that street. So we began to share Jesus and pray for people. Everywhere we turned people were getting touched by the Holy Spirit! One of the first people I talked to was Gregory. I asked him if he had any pain in his body and he said yes, but when I offered to pray for him he said no. He said he didn’t like men touching him. It seemed kind of weird to me, but I said ok and turned to a lady who was by him and asked if she had any pain. Her name was Morgan and she said she had back pain. So we laid hands on her back and prayed and all the pain left her body! When Gregory saw Morgan get healed he exclaimed, “Wait, it happens like that?!” I said, “Yes!” and he replied, “Well come over here and pray for my knees!” So I had my friend Cody who I was with lay hands on his knees and I left and started talking to another guy that was highlighted to me whose name was Nelly. I started sharing Jesus with him and he said he believed in Jesus so I prayed for the baptism of the Holy Spirit. And the Holy Spirit filled him! He felt the power of God go through his body and couldn’t move. He was stuck under the Presence of God! He looked at me a bit confused and I just said, “That’s Jesus! He loves you.” So we had a powerful time just flowing with the Holy Spirit.”

Woman Healed of Disappointment

“I had it on my heart to share Jesus with some people I know in my neighborhood. So we drove to my neighborhood and my brother ended up being out front of my house with his girlfriend in his car. It was a divine appointment! The lady’s name was Jill and we started talking with her and asked if there was anything she needed prayer for. She shared a hard story about her son who was ten years old who she hadn’t seen in awhile. We could see the heaviness she was carrying as she shared the story so we asked if we could pray and just invite Jesus to come. We had her close her eyes and we welcomed the Holy Spirit. We told her to think about the first time in her childhood she was really disappointed and lost hope for a good life. Immediately she started crying. We told her to picture Jesus in that spot with her and that He wanted to take all the hurt and disappointment. She cried even more as the Holy Spirit touched her. We invited her to surrender her life to Jesus, but she said she was already a believer and then started confessing all her problems and what she’d gone through. We told her to surrender all her mess to Jesus and she did. She was touched by the love and peace of Jesus and was so grateful we prayed for her. We hadn’t even planned to come to the neighborhood for her, but God knew and set the whole thing up!”

$21 for Honey

“This morning as I was leaving my room the Holy Spirit told me to take the $20 bill that was lying on my dresser. I told the Lord that I needed that money, but He just said, “Grab it.” So I put it in my pocket and left for the day. On my way to outreach I found another dollar bill in my jacket pocket so I had a total of $21 with me. I had a sense that God wanted to use that money to bless someone that day. I ended up meeting my friend at the Portland Farmers Market for outreach and she mentioned how she needed to buy some honey. I told her I knew a vendor we could get honey from where I had also been sharing Jesus with the owner. A few weeks ago when I tried to talk to him about Jesus he told me to go away and not bring that around him and that I would drive his customers away, but I wanted to continue to try and reach him. So we went to his stand and started talking to him and right away he seemed to be way more open. I talked to him about his honey which he was passionate about. I felt the Lord prompting me to buy some and I had my eye on one jar in particular. I asked him how much it was and he said, “It’s $21”, the exact amount I brought with me that day! I was so amazed! So I bought the honey and afterwards started sharing Jesus with him. A little ways from the stand there were some other Christians preaching loudly the Turn-or-Burn message and how God was angry with sinners. I shared with him how that was not the heart of God for him, how Jesus loves him, and who Jesus had been to me in my life. He received it so well and even invited me to come back and visit him next week. It was amazing to see how the Holy Spirit led me and opened the heart of this man who had been so closed off before. God knows how to speak to us!”

Girls Gets Set Free From Anxiety and Gets Born Again

“We went to the Vancouver Mall on outreach and felt led to go into Spencers. Immediately as we walked in there was a girl highlighted to me, but before I could even approach her my friend Jen who I was with walked up and started talking to her. She told her, “You have such a sweet spirit. God loves you so much!” We wanted to talk more, but the workers in the store asked us to leave because we had some beverages with us and they weren’t allowed in the store. So we left and started walking away and noticed the girl was walking a short distance behind us. We turned around and asked her if she needed prayer for anything. She said we could pray for her anxiety. As Jen prayed for her, the girl said she felt a lightness and I sensed in my heart that she was ready to give her life to Jesus. So I explained to her how Jesus is the Prince of Peace and when He lives inside you He drives away anxiety. I shared what it meant to have a relationship with Jesus and asked her, “Is there anything holding you back from giving your life to Jesus?” She answered, “No, I want to do that.” So we led her to Jesus right there! I also invited her to join my discipleship group so we could follow up with her.”

Word of Knowledge Leads a Man to Rededicating His Life to Jesus

“As we walked along the Vancouver waterfront, the Holy Spirit highlighted a man who was sitting near the water with his wife and child. I could feel the compassion of Jesus strongly for him so I asked the Holy Spirit what He wanted to say. He showed me the man was passionate about creating music and that he had recently been anxious about some family situation in his life. So I approached him and after introducing myself I asked if he was passionate about music. He said yes and then I asked if he had been anxious about a family situation recently. He told me he had moved from Costa Rica two years ago to Vancouver Washington and missed his family greatly. As he shared this, the Holy Spirit showed me he had a brother that he had a special relationship with. When I asked him, he said it was true that he had two brothers, but was closer to one of them. I said God knew him perfectly, loved him, and wanted to give him peace. I shared the Gospel with him and he told me he had grown up catholic, but recently felt like he wasn’t doing enough to have a relationship with God and needed to start living right again. I explained how Jesus gives us the power to live right from the inside out when we surrender our hearts to him and not try to do good things to reach him. I said, “If Jesus was knocking on the door or your heart right now would you let him in?” “Yes, of course,” he said. I prayed for him and he felt the presence of God as a heat in his chest. I told him that was Jesus drawing him back home. He made the decision to surrender his life afresh right there and after we prayed he felt a weight lift on him and peace fill him. I encouraged him how much Jesus loved him and he thanked me several times. The Father was pursuing him that day!”

Encouragement Leads to Discipleship

“While at the Vancouver Mall on outreach, we met a man named Shae near JCPenney. With tattoos all over his body, several earrings, and an overall rougher look to him, Shae did not seem like he would be open to talking about Jesus with us. As we started to encourage him and share Jesus with him, however, he eagerly listened and said, ‘Man, I really needed this. I haven’t gone to church much, but I want what you guys are talking about.’ We shared about what the Bible taught about following Jesus and the commitment that it was. He said he was hungry to learn more and we agreed to meet up with him and his friend the following day to begin teaching him about being a believer. The whole encounter turned into a discipleship opportunity!”

Ladies Encouraged through a Prophetic Word

“As soon as we entered Walmart while on outreach God highlighted two ladies shopping in the produce section of Walmart. We approached them and I shared how they were highlighted to us and that God wanted to encourage them. As we talked, the Holy Spirit began to show me that one of the ladies had a gift of working with kids and had been struggling with anxiety because of a situation with her dad. When I shared this with her, tears came to her eyes and she said it was true. We prayed for her and she felt heat run through her body. I asked her if she wanted to forgive her dad right then and she said yes. So I led her in praying to forgive her dad and when she was done she said, “Wow, I don’t feel the anxiety like I normally do.” She was so overwhelmed she could barely speak and just cried. Then the Holy Spirit showed me that the other lady had a stabbing pain right in the middle of her back. When I asked her she looked at me surprised and said yes. So we prayed for her and the pain instantly left. The Holy Spirit then showed me she was carrying so much weight in her heart from broken relationships and false expectations she put on herself. So we shared the Gospel with her and I told her that if she opened her heart to Jesus and surrendered her life to Him he would deliver her from all her pain and burdens. Through tears, she said she believed in Jesus, but wasn’t ready to let go of all the pain and hurt. I told her Jesus was always there and she could call out to Him at any time and He would respond. They both thanked us and we told them it was Jesus who met them that day.”

Young Man Gives His Life to Jesus at the Mall

“I ended up at the mall on outreach and while passing by one of the cell phone booths the young man working the booth asked if I needed a new phone. We started talking and after selling me a phone, I began sharing Jesus with him. I used the Jesus At the Door method saying that Jesus was knocking on the door of his heart and wanted to take the weight of his sin away. He listened intently and when I finished sharing he said he wanted to give his life to Jesus. So we prayed together right there and he gave his life to Jesus! After we finished, he asked, “Can I have the Jesus At the Door card? I want to share it with my friend.” He was so impacted by God that he immediately thought of sharing it with his close friend. The love of Jesus is contagious!”

"As we went out from Pioneer Courthouse Square to share the gospel, we met a man on the street. As we were praying for his family relationships to be restored, his daughter texted him. He had pain in his upper back, and after praying twice, the pain left. As we continued praying the Holy Spirit told me he needed to forgive people. I asked him, and he prayed to forgive everyone in his life. I knew we weren't done yet, and that's when God told me to ask him about his calling. The Holy Spirit told me that something happened to him and he ran from his calling. When I asked him this, it completely opened his heart. He told us that when he was in prison years ago he was going to church and obeying God. While trying to obey God, he received divorce papers from his wife. It hurt him so badly that it threw him back into his old way of living. We prayed for him, and the Holy Spirit was healing this deep wound in his heart. The next day, he came to our church, and at the end of the service, he went forward to receive the Holy Spirit."

Aldora from our team approached a couple (boyfriend and girlfriend).  As we talked with them and told them that Jesus loved them, the young woman, Kaitlyn was being moved almost immediately.  She knew God, but was not following Him.  The Father started to touch her immediately.  Luis from our team prayed for the young man, Lucky and he said that he was experiencing the goodness of God.  We asked Lucky if he wanted to make Jesus his Lord and Savior and follow Him.  He said yes and prayed to make Jesus his King.  It was awesome!  God touched him and Lucky felt the presence of God for the first time.  Then Chris O came up and gave Kaitlyn a coin, blessed their socks off and prayed for them to be filled with the HS.  Lots of smiles.  It was beautiful!”

“The 1st person we met was Chad. As we were praying with him for his relationships to be restored his daughter texted him. He had pain in his upper back and after praying twice, the pain left. As we continued praying, the Holy Spirit told me he needs to forgive people - he prayed to forgive everyone. But I knew we weren't done yet. That's when God said ask him about his calling. Holy Spirit told me that something happened and he ran from his calling. When I asked him that, that's when we hit the heart of the matter. He said he was in prison years ago and was going to church obeying God. While trying to obey God he received divorce papers from his wife that hit him so bad and threw him back to his old way of living. Holy Spirit healed that in his heart as we prayed. Saturday he came to our meeting at Abiding Place where we meet every second Saturday as Aaron Winter was preaching about forgiveness 🔥🔥🔥🔥. In the end Aaron asked if anyone wants to go forward and pray and receive The Holy Spirit, he did.

A man named Austin just needed to talk. I let him talk. I very lovingly showed him how the devil has been lying to him. He thought the tattoo on his arm was the mark of the beast. He thought he needed to go to prison and then surrender his life to Jesus. But thankful we were able to show him that's not the case. He prayed and received Jesus in his heart and renounced the devil and his lies.”

“The first person our group talked to was a believing man named Chad who had pain in his back and shoulder. The Lord brought him much relief as we prayed. He prayed and re-dedicated his life to God. Ara’s testimony above describes how the Holy Spirit downloaded to Ara about Chad & how God used Ara so powerfully in Chad’s life. Wow!

We talked for a long time to a young guy named Bocco who felt he had no right to ask God to help him in any way because of all the bad things he has done. We spoke to him for a long time about God‘s love for him and what Jesus did for him on the cross. I shared my own God story with him and had the privilege of leading him in prayer to receive Christ as Savior. Ara will follow up with him and take him to church because they both live in Beaverton.

We talked for a long time to a young man named Jeremiah who is a heroin addict. He is a believer but satan’s hold on him has been strong and debilitating. In the name of Jesus & by His authority, we took authority over the demons that have been holding him captive and saw a physical manifestation of him being released. He said what he felt happening in his body that night after we prayed for him & also after Lance prayed with him earlier, had never been experienced by him in his life. The man I was with, (I’m sorry I can’t remember his name), will follow up with him.

We prayed for a woman from Singapore. She’s a believer who has problems with her eyes. I received a message from her the next morning in which she thanked us for the prayers and said how very significant and profound it was for her because she was only in Portland from Singapore for a few hours Friday night.

Last month I asked a Compassion to Action team member to pray for my back because of pain and discomfort I have had related to scoliosis. He had me sit down and as he prayed we saw my left leg grow out longer and become the same length as my right leg. At the end of the night Friday night, I asked Chris to please pray for my back because I had still been having some pain. As Chris prayed I experienced the presence of the Holy Spirit on me in a very real and tangible way causing me to feel like I could hardly stand up. Since then I have not had the same pain and pulling in my hip and leg as before. What  an amazing, powerful & incredible God we serve! All glory and praise to Him!!!!”

All I can say is WOW! My name is Chuck McCallum from Infusion Church and the Catalyst Business School. We just had the most incredible weekend with my friend, Chris Overstreet! Chris is taking a Gospel Truck all the way around the country, and he asked us if we would partner with him.

We partnered with him in Santa Cruz, Concord, and here in Pleasanton. We went out in the streets, and I personally got to witness people come to know Christ out on the streets. One young man had come from gang- related violence and had been stabbed a few times. We called out words of knowledge that he really needed to forgive his family. It was just crazy to watch him forgive his family under the presence of the Holy Spirit!

Chuck McCallum - Senior Pastor of Infusion Church, Bay Area

Hi I’m Jack Shumate, a Pastor in Oregon City, and what a powerful night with Compassion To  Action in Oregon City! We saw over 11 baptisms, people's bodies were healed, salvations, etc. People did not just come forward. There were people who I talked to afterwards that accepted Jesus. I talked to one gal who accepted Jesus for the first time. Another gal came to Christ tonight who was contemplating suicide. Just being out in the crowd, the presence of God was so thick! It was such a great night with Chris and the team! I'm really excited that revival isn’t going to come;  It's already here!

Pastor Jack Shumate - Won by One Church Oregon City, Oregon

We are so honored to link arms with the other pastors in the area and welcome Chris Overstreet and his team Compassion to America. I'm telling you, it was off the chain tonight! The presence was so evident! I felt so grateful for the effort put into this, so something awesome happened.

So many people had gotten totally touched by giving their lives to Jesus, got baptized, and touched by the Holy Ghost, but as we were getting ready to leave, this woman was just standing there and I just felt the Lord nudge me to talk with her. And as I did, she just started weeping. She said that she lives a block away, and as she was lying  in bed, she could hear what was being said. So she said, “I just knew that I had to get up, get dressed and come down here!” So she came down here, and she walked right up to me. I knew that the Lord was drawing her and wooing her by His presence and by His Spirit. I just began to pray for her and the Lord just started giving me word after word after word about her life and she is weeping in the Presence of God that she began shaking and she just said, “Everything you’re saying is describing my life! It's my life. I've never experienced God like I am right here!”

That’s what's happening in Oroville. People are hungry and desperate for the real thing. They're hungry and desperate for an encounter with the living God. They just don't know. So an event like this is like calling in of the people and it's also a catalyst of fire for the leaders in this area. To realize that God is setting us on the ground. He's giving us marching orders for the people out there want what we have. They want what's on the inside of us! They want the joy. They want the peace. They want the real, genuine love and presence and anointing and change that God brings. And so I don't know about anybody else, but I know for me, I'm so fired up and just ready to see Oroville shaken.

I knew in my spirit before this started that Chris and his team coming were gonna be like a spark. It was gonna be like a fire starter for what God's gonna do in this city. So I'm just excited. And this encounter that I had with this lady I know it's just to be like that, boom, boom, block just one person after another. If we just are obedient and stepping out and hitting the streets and praying with people and leading people to Jesus and saying what the Holy Spirit says to say, because we don't have a reputation as leaders in Oroville. We don't have a reputation to uphold anymore. The only reputation we have to uphold is Jesus. And so let's just do it. Let's just see Jesus shaken. Amen.

Pastor Josh & Amanda Hendricks - City Alive Church

After we ended our event in Troy, Missouri, the stage was being torn down, and Jason Mcnutt and I were going out to film testimonies as to how God moved and impacted people through the event. And we were drawn to the baptism tank, and we met a mom there who was balling with her 15 year old daughter and her daughters friend. She was not aware of our event until hours before she drove by saw the stage came and talked to our sound guy and then went home asked her daughter if she wanted to go her daughter said no, then her friend came over and her friend wanted to go so they came to our event.

When we began talking to her she shared with us that the mom was in a car accident a few years back and had over 50 surgeries since then, she had permanent nerve damage in her hand, and she couldn’t even hold a pop can.

But during the event she felt heat in her arm, and at the end she took off her wrist brace, and was able to hold a 32oz drink in that hand, and was radically healed at the event. You know God is doing something incredible when the camera man is trying to record but can’t stop weeping.

“At the last mini gospel truck event we had in Gresham a young lady came up to the truck and asked if she could take a bible :). This happened while I was preaching on stage, She approached the stage and asked, "Hey can I take one?" , as she pointed to the bibles :). I responded, "Yes, of course." I got down from the stage and started having a conversation with her. She was so hungry to encounter The Lord and to learn more about him. She wouldn't share too much about her life but I could just sense the hunger in her heart and the fact that she came up to the truck to grab a bible made it evident also! Ransom came over and joined the conversation, we began to prophesy over her and The Holy Spirit came upon her and rested on her like a comforting blanket of peace. After The Encounter we asked her if she wanted to make the decision to give her life to Jesus and she said yes! Ransom exchanged contact info with her and now he will be following up with her!”

Testimony from Gresham event:

“I remember being 7 years old and giving my heart to Jesus at Sunday school. Now being an adult and bringing Sunday school to neighborhoods has been a very heartfelt experience. In Gresham, I got to paint the faces of many children. One little girl stood out to me, because somehow we went from talking about rainbows and hearts to how: God knocks on the door of our heart and we get to open the door to let Him in. As I finished painting, I asked, “Do you want to do that today?” She nodded quickly. I said, “Okay this is going to be fun!” I lead her through a prayer of inviting Jesus into her heart. She nodded her head and repeated the words. When we finished, I told her, “God gets to be your best friend for your whole life now!” She smiled really big. She kept sitting in the chair even after the painting was finished and I got to tell her more about Jesus. When I asked her, “what are you feeling right now?” after the prayer, she thought about it and looked back up, “I just feel really good.” She told me she was 7 years old and I could feel the pleasure of God watching this moment between us. It’s so beautiful to give away what Christ has done in each of us and to give kids experiences that changes their life!”

“In Troy, MO I remember one lady asking for prayer for her and her husband, who she had on FaceTime right there with her. She told me that they were being afflicted by demons and needed deliverance. As I prayed the Holy Spirit told me that there was unforgiveness in their hearts towards specific individuals. The wife began weeping and shared that it was true. She confessed she had also opened up doors to witchcraft in her life. We prayed together and she renounced the witchcraft and forgave people she needed to forgive in her heart. She felt Holy Spirit touch her and free her right there! Her and her husband were both encouraged and were thankful that God knew how to free them!”

“At one of our block parties in Portland I remember walking around neighborhoods inviting people through flyers to our gospel truck event an hour before the event started. I walked past one liquor store where I met a guy who was about to go get drunk and I told him to come check out our block party. He decided to show up and when he heard Chris preaching he was so touched by the gospel message that he was in tears! He told me he had walked away from God a while back and instead of getting liquor that night he re-dedicated his life back to him. He then said he wants to help volunteer at future events in town!  It’s been so encouraging getting to witness what’s happening in Portland & Vancouver through these events!”
