The School of Compassion to Action is a two-and-a-half day activation school with biblical teachings modeled after the life of Jesus. Our morning and afternoon sessions will be shortened to allow believers of all ages to put into practice at nearby universities and communities what they have just learned. This school is a greenhouse that emphasizes the identity of the believer as a new creation, the empowerment of the Holy Spirit, and discipleship through multiplying the gift that God has placed in us.

We believe that God is pouring out His Spirit around universities in America

Some of our greatest universities started as hearts were being awakened through the presence of Jesus. Men and women sought to train and equip the future generation to know God and to make Him known with love and power throughout America. Like them, we, too, desire to impact society by equipping the church, evangelizing the world, and making disciples for Jesus Christ. That is why  we desire to host the School of Compassion to Action near universities and colleges.

The focus of our school is to empower, equip and activate the everyday believer.

  • Empowered – Our school is a greenhouse that enables believers to learn, thrive and grow.
  • Equipped – Throughout CTA Schools you will discover who you are in Christ,  who Christ is in you, and what Christ wants to do through you. You will learn to share and demonstrate the love of Christ naturally.
  • Activated – You will have the opportunity and privilege to put into action what you have learned in each session of the school. Each activation we provide will help jump start you into a lifestyle of activating your faith through the power of compassion.

Who should come to our school

If you are:

  • A church leader  that wants to see the church grow in evangelism and discipleship.

  • Anyone who has a heart for college students.

Those that want to:

  • Realize that walking in power is easy and natural.

  • Grow in unity with the larger Body of Christ.

  • Reach this generation for Jesus.

  • Start discipleship groups on their university.

  • Write history rather than observe it.

Who should host a school

Schools of Compassion to Action put a priority on being hosted within thirty miles of universities or college campuses.  We also place a priority on unity. Since Compassion to Action is a non-denominational movement we prioritize unity in the body of Christ by hosting partners in each region. We would prefer that a minimum of five churches/ministries co-sponsor each event. Hosting a school means:

  • That you will promote the school in your realm of influence.

  • That you are willing to unite with other churches and ministries in your area.

  • That you (your congregation, etc.) will be willing to help house the CTA staff and interns during the event if needed.

  • In order to host a School of Compassion to Action, your facility must hold at minimum 500 people, have projection screens, have a well-functioning sound system and a sound engineer who will be present for all sessions.

  • That all invited CTA Speakers can speak at a separate congregation on Sunday morning
